We would like to speak to each of you about our wedding experience last Saturday!
What a wonderful and exciting day it was for us! And even though we had scheduled a long day, it went by far too fast. It seemed like we saw your faces and heard your voices for short moments that passed only briefly in the flurry of the day.
But what we do know is that in those short moments, we created many warm memories that we will treasure for a lifetime.
We thank all of you who participated from near and far and those who couldn’t make it but connected with us as best you could.
And we want to especially thank those of you who stood up for us and spoke for us, and to us, in such deeply meaningful ways.

For those of you who were standing out in front of the church when I first arrived before the ceremony (you know who you are), I just want to say, please forget that woman in the white wedding dress who ran past you up the stairs and whatever she may have said at that time.
I want you to know that I had absolutely no idea what I was saying or doing — although I do have a brief memory of not behaving very gracefully and would like to apologize. My intention was to make you feel welcome and to express my gratitude to you for coming to my wedding. So let me tell you what I meant to say: Hi everyone. I’m so excited to see you all! I can’t wait to share my wedding experience with you! Thank you so much for being here with me today. I love you. Janet
