Leo Doria
I was born in Worcester, MA, in 1922
I met my wife in 1940 and 1942 we were married. We were deeply in love and have been for 61 years.
I am a WWII veteran and served with Gen Patton’s 3rd army for three years.
In 1959, because of discontent with my job and other circumstances, we decided to move to California.
My sister, who is Janet’s mother, already lived in San Jose, so when the time came for Janet & Nancy to
graduate from catholic school, Janet’s Mom, & Dad chose my wife (Ann) and me to be their godparents and we were deeply honored.
Ann has since died in 2003 and left a huge hole in my life, but it is also comforting to know that she is happy with God.
So I have known Janet all her life and we have had many many happy family gatherings over the years, happy memories that will live with us forever.
